Mark Giordano is Director of Global Logistics, Renaissance Global Logistics. He has responsibility over all RGL operations, quality, purchasing and IT. Mark is also a member of the Steering Committee supporting the JD Edwards ERP implementation.
Mark began his career with Ford Motor Company working in various operational support roles before moving directly into Operations as the Material Handling Superintendent of one of the climate control component manufacturing plants. Upon his departure from Manufacturing he returned to work in North American Material Logistics where he led the implementation of an Origin Distribution Center network opening up ten cross-docks across the country and reducing inventory by an estimated $70 million.
Mark elected to leave Ford after 18 years and joined Penske Logistics as the General Manager of two heavy manufacturing customers managing over $18M in annual revenue. He has also held similar roles as the Director of Managed Transportation for US Xpress and Transportation & Logistics Manager for A123 Systems, the U.S. based hybrid battery manufacturer. Prior to joining RGL, Mark was an IT Program Manager for Ryder with responsibility for implementation of Warehouse Management Systems supporting both current operations and new business opportunities.
Mark earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Packaging Engineering at Michigan State University and a Master of Science degree in Administration at Central Michigan University.
