James Group demonstrates its dedication to supporting kids, education, and communities by proudly partnering with Detroit Christo Rey High School.
At James Group, we have always believed in the power of education and its ability to transform lives. That’s why we are thrilled to continue our legacy of supporting kids, education, and our communities through our ongoing partnership with the Corporate Work-Study Program offered by Detroit Cristo Rey High School.
This innovative program combines rigorous academics with real-life work experiences, instilling in students the necessary skills and experiences to succeed in both college and their future careers.
“We’re one of many organizations in our region who feel strongly about supporting education in our communities,” said Magda Moss, Vice President of Human Resources at James Group. “But we are especially honored to be a part of this unique program for the second year in a row.”
“These students are simply remarkable, and it is so rewarding to see them transform into confident, capable individuals ready to take on the challenges of college and the professional world—and to know that we had a small part in their growth,” Moss continued.
During their time in this program and while on site at James Group, students will have the chance to work on meaningful projects, collaborate with professionals in their chosen fields, and develop skills that will benefit them throughout their lives.
Our partnership with Cristo Rey is a testament to our ongoing commitment to empowering students and positively impacting our community. Through this program, we are shaping the leaders of tomorrow, preparing them for a bright future, and equipping them with the tools they need to make a difference.
